Today we have our first answered prayer from Levi. We prayed today for children who are struggling with drug addiction. Here is Levi’s comment:
I couldn’t get this on here fast enough. My wife is on her way to pick up our daughter to take her to Celebrate Recovery. This is the first time she has ever agreed to go for any help anywhere. As of yesterday she was not going to go. Thank you all for praying for our children. This is a true answer to prayer. Thank you!
I wanted to update everyone, and also express my gratitude to all that have prayed for my daughter Michelle. There is such a big improvement in her over the last 3 weeks. She started Celebrate Recovery just after we started praying for her and she likes it. Even though she is in the earliest stage, we are seeing real change that only God could bring into her life. We give Him the praise for it and pray that He completely delivers her. Thank you all so much!!!

I want to update you all on Michelle, our daughter who has been drug dependent. She has now been clean for over a month and has attended Celebrate Recovery for the past 4 weeks. She now has a sponsor and they met for lunch a couple of days after the meeting. This is the best progress we have seen in a couple of years from her and we give God all of the glory for it. I thank you all for praying for her and I ask that you will continue if the Holy Spirit leads you. Thanks so much!

Thanks be to God. Nothing is impossible for Him.
Philippians 2:10 King James Version (KJV)
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.
Praising with you, may this be the beginning of greater things in your daughter’s life. May Holy Spirit connect her with faithful mentors and friends to walk besides her, and stand with her through it all. Above all, that she may know Jesus as the friend who says that he’ll never leave us nor forsake us.
Amen

I have great news!! Caleb had surgery this morning quite out of the blue. Yesterday, they said no surgery would be possible. After another test an oncologist, GI, and general surgeon all took him into surgery to see what was going on because Caleb was in terrible pain. The findings were great. What was thought to be a tumor was a cyst larger than a softball. It was removed. A kink was found in his intestine that he has had from birth. They removed 2-3 ft of his intestine. They do not believe there is any cancer at all but will know for certain within 2-3 days. We praise The Lord God for His mercy and I thank you all for your prayers!

This is an update on the Peter Kassig ISIS hostage situation in the Middle East, where God is answering our prayers.
It has been 26 days since Alan Henning’s execution video became public, and Peter Kassig (or Abdul-Rahman, as he prefers to be known) was threatened to be the next victim. However, new videos put out by ISIS (see http://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2014/10/isis-shifts-their-social-media-patterns/381988/) give no information on his status. The other beheading videos were all released about two weeks apart. A number of calls have been made to spare Abdul’s life — he is an aid worker and devout Muslim. Even Abu Omar Aqidi, a high ranking official in the al-Qaeda sect Jabhat al-Nusra, has called for his release. ISIS is known for its well-organized social media activity, yet it seems to be slowly changing patterns, which to the eyes of faith is evidence of God’s great mercy.
Please continue for the Lord Jesus’ spirit to continue working in the hearts and minds of ISIS, their captives and the people ISIS are warring against, so that as many people as possible come to Christ and are saved.

This is great news, Naomi. Praise The Lord for His working in this situation. God is bigger than this group of radicals and limits their every move. Let’s all continue to pray for Peter Kassig, and that God will continue to intervene and free this man. Also, that God will restrain and eliminate ISIS completely. Thank you for the update.

Pingback: Another Answer To Our Prayers | The Acts 12 Movement
Great news! After the ROLLER COASTER ride of our lives we have come to the end of the ride. Today the final pathology report came in and our son, Caleb, does not have lymphoma. PRAISE BE TO GOD!!!!! He had a rare thing called a lymphangioma. It should cause no further problems for him and he should be completely fine after the surgical healing process. I want to thank you who prayed so much for your prayers. God truly does answer prayers. He truly does all things well and in His own time. Thank you all so much!!!
