Being a believing youth is getting harder every day. Our children are losing their faith and are trying to navigate through a secular world that sends them mixed messages. As much as try to direct them back to Jesus, they are still growing up and able to make their own decisions. Remaining a follower of Jesus is unpopular and a hard stance to take amidst peer pressure. Today, let’s pray for our children to remain rooted in Christ.
Dear Father God,
Protect our children. Do not let them stray to the left or to the right. Help us to guide them in the way which they should go. Help us as parents and grandparents to be effective teachers and mentors in our Lord Jesus, and be the embodiment of the gospel to our children. Lord let us not be about religion, but about relationship with you. Let us show that to our children. Lord protect our children- mind, body and spirit. Let them see your face and never turn away from you. Show us with moanings and groanings of the spirit how to pray for them. Thank you for our blessings.
