Two New Prayer Requests

Two new prayer requests have come in from our prayer group. Let’s all unite in prayer with them.

 

Hello prayer warriors,

I am asking for prayer for my mother. Two months ago while she was sitting in her living room watching TV, she experienced a stroke which has made her permanently blind in her left eye (as declared by the doctors). This has devastated us all, and my mother is hurting emotionally but doesn’t complain. She cannot drive now, cook or do many other things without messing up. My mother is my best friend and I am asking the Lord to restore her eyesight to the best that He will.

Our Heavenly Father, we pray first for Amanda’s mother. It is a difficult situation, both emotionally and physically, for her by losing sight in her left eye. We know that you can heal and restore her sight to her, Lord. We have many examples of you healing the blind in Scripture. We also understand that physical blindness is not nearly as important as spiritual blindness. If she is a believer  we know that she sees everything clearly through Jesus. During this time please comfort her and may she feel Your presence. She sounds like a blessing to her family by not complaining and this comes from that special grace that only you can give. Give her peace today.

We pray for DK and the tumor on his neck. We ask that you will give the doctors wisdom as they treat it and comfort him. Healing through doctors and medicine are still from you. Please give peace of heart to DK and may he look to you for comfort to rest in the arms of Jesus. You are the ultimate healer. We also know Lord that we can grow in these times of trial. Please teach us all to continue growing as we experience various trials in our life.

We trust you to do these things because we ask them in the name of Jesus, and for His sake.
